For the past year and a half, Westfield Washington Schools has worked with YMCA to develop a new natatorium and aquatic center as the district experiences enrollment growth.
That growth has resulted in the schools’ need for more space. So, the district’s solution has been to build an off-site aquatic center in partnership with the YMCA, proposed on a 9-acre site at the southwest corner of 181st Street and Wheeler Road.
The aquatic center will house a state-of-the-art, 50-meter pool with 10 lanes, two bulkheads and a diving well.
